Yellow Dragon Mountain

Chengdu, China (2009)

Huanglong Mountain or Yellow Dragon mountain is is a scenic and historic interest area in the northwest part of Sichuan, China. It’s up at 3500m above sea-level. The 3rd and last leg of my Himalayan plateau tour was the original habitat of giant pandas and golden monkeys. The coolest thing around this place is the Buddhist temple on top of the hill where the main body of water fall starts.
