Nagarkot is a small town atop the Baktaphur district and about 32km away from Kathmandu City. It is seated at an elevation of 2,200m, with the best view of the Himalayan mountain ranges. I was actually looking forward to taking photos of the Anapurna range, where the basecamp of Everest hikers reside. I had my telephoto lens and wide lens with me, ready for the 2 days photography. Except that two days, the entire mountain was blanketed by clouds, so no luck for me, It could have been the most awesome photography of my Nepal travel beside the flight-seeing trip over Mount Everest. However I did enjoy Nakarkot, it’s peaceful and quiet and the best thing about it, drinking San Miguel Beer on the roof top while listening to nature whistling.
