Gion is Kyoto’s Geisha district and also host to many foreigners who wore kimono and pretend to be Japanese. We arrived by bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto early in the morning. It took about two hours and fifteen minutes and a costly 13,000 yen about the same price if we flew but worth the experience. The atmosphere in Kyoto is different, cultural even the food, great reason to really travel and experience Japan again.
