Boudhanath Stupa
Kathmandu, Nepal (2014)
Boudhanath Stupa is a massive Mandala and one of the largest spherical Stupas in the world was buit in the 5th Century CE. Inside the compound, I noticed the visitors are walking around the stupa, clockwise a lot of them are pilgrims and monks from far places like Tibet. The Stupa is located about 11 km away from Kathmandu. It was also badly damage in 2015 earthquake and reconstructed in 2016, I think it’s open to public now.
