UI / UX Design
Graphical User Interface and Motion Design gallery. All app are currently available on iOS and Android, except for 2. These are just few of the UI I have design thru the years. In typical IoT hardware development it always comes with an App. So whenever I design a hardware that is connected wirelessly I also design the UI, I call it complete human interface design, complete because I will design the physical hardware that people interact with, hold in their hands, touch or talk to and then the UI or virtual controller in most cases on the phone or tablet. As an example, I designed Oomi UI from scratch in the span of 3 years. It’s a complicated task because we were first in many things, integration of smart home products in one ecosystem took a lot of experimenting because in early 2012, IoT is new and not so much reference in the market. Kudos my design and coding team for the enormous job. Since then I design a lot of other UI / UX. In typical me, fashion, I sketch things up, then make wireframe or logic flow. Setup the style and coloration then create it in Adobe Illustrator. I love simplicity and clarity so whenever I get my team to design icons, I made sure it’s stupid-proof, anyone should be able to understand. Once design is done, it goes into committee, meaning bosses will review, assess and evaluate. Once approved we then go ahead with creating working mock-up in Adobe XD. I used to do a little html in the past but since XD was made available, it increases our productivity and convenience, less jarring, less intimidating for designers.
